Bunnies and Foxes UNITE law with common sense & jurisprudence!

In our dysfunctional country where against 75% of the voters, David Cameron is trying to quietly repeal the law on Blood-sports and issue 100's of licences to Battery (fluffy white) Bunny MEAT farms, at least we can unite in happiness at the end of our BA travel woes....

The General Secretary of the UNITE organisation has negotiated a settlement for BA Cabin Crew after an 18(?) month dispute. He's very pleased with himself and on the face of it has every right to be...

Dig a little deeper to find out what caused the dispute; Well BA were losing a crazy £4million a month(?) due to the rapidly spiralling cost of AVGAS and were looking to make savings. These savings included freezing pay and cutting over-time!

Reasonable, right? Particularly since the company was down to less than 12 months of cash reserves to pay for it's weekly losses.

UNITE in all it's anarchic stupidity decided this was outrageous and proceeded to call for a number of strikes that cost BA further millions, caused misery to 100s of thousands of travellers and did uncalculable damage to the British Tourist Industry at a time when we were already bloody miserable and feeling the pinch of financial austerity...

BA's Chairman, Willie Walsh responded (reasonably I might say) by removing all free and reduced travel priviliges (free flights etc) from the Cabin Staff who striked.

Ouch!

More strikes follow - for 18 months, with a loss of £150million in revenue...

A change of Chairman at BA and suddenly Unite are able to negotiate a mind-blowing deal....

Restoration of Cabin Staff free and reduced travel priviliges, and removal of the frozen pay.

BIG DEAL! How much has that strike cost these buffoons in having to pay normal air-ticket fairs for their Holidays? You can bet it was more than any pay award.

That makes Len McCluskey truly a self-important ass-hole in my book...

Of course - assuming the radio reports are correct... he should have been locked up for causing so much damage to the British economy - their must be a Law somewhere about that.

Ah... moving onto another Law (tenuous link I know) - This time it's Liberal MP (formerly a Junior Minister in the Cabinet) David Law. He resigned for having breached the MP Expenses Rules. Well done. For resigning when you were found out... Have a standing ovation...

However, we are reliably informed there was no motive to steal from the public purse in Mr Laws case - and he has already paid back inxs of £50,000 pounds in falsely claimed expenses.

Nick Clegg said on the radio words to the effect that Law had claimed for rent for a house owned by his homosexual partner only to protect his own privacy - he did not want to 'come out' and did not want anyone questioning why he was living for free with a bloke. There is already speculation that this 'model politician' will retunr into the government...

OK. If you're incredibly liberal minded, you might swallow that load of gunk; or you might dig a little deeper.

So Mr Law, the radio tells us that not only did you claim for the rent of the house you were sharing with your boyfriend, but that you also inflated the cost of that rent... Hmmm... under the Law of England and Wales, that sounds like intent to steal...

Oh and he also made claims for building work that he was not entitled to claim for - and mobile phone bills... allegedly...

But the DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER says THERE WAS NO INTENT TO STEAL!?

WTF!!!???

I'm sure I'd have lost my job, (not just as a Minister but as an MP) and gone straight to Hell for that one....

Obviously it is once again, one LAW for politicians and one LAW for us idiots that allow them to get away with it!

PROTEST!!!
